WHO ARE WE?

In 2023, the three of us, as high school students, decided to stop drinking energy drinks. Coffee would have been an alternative, but it turned out to be impractical in everyday life: you can’t just carry it in your backpack or always have it within reach in the car. That’s exactly where our mission came from: to develop a more practical and healthier alternative to energy drinks and coffee.

After around 8 months of development, the first version of Joltz Energy Gum - Blackcurrant - became available. But that was only the beginning: we collected feedback and kept improving the product. The following year, we launched a new flavor - Peppermint - which quickly became our bestseller. Today, Peppermint is available in most Coop to go stores in the Zurich region.

By now, Joltz has been featured in outlets including 20 Minuten, Blick, the Coop newspaper, and TeleZüri.

We’re continuously working on new flavors, with the goal of building a lineup that appeals to as many people as possible - without losing our core mission: creating a healthier and more practical everyday energizer.

OUR STORY

Although our journey has only just begun, we, 4 students from the Kantonsschule Uster, have already experienced an incredible amount. As students and recreational athletes, we struggled daily with the lack of energy - and that's exactly why in October 2023 we made it our goal to invent an innovative remedy that is not only healthier, but also more effective than coffee and energy drinks... And so began the story of Joltz.
